Home Repairs for Good

NEW BRAND ACTIVATION

As a Board Member and longtime volunteer, Artifactual co-founder Jake Engel had the chance to help lead something big – the transformation of NeighborLink Indianapolis into Home Repairs for Good in early 2024.

Home Repairs for Good provides critical home repairs at no cost to older adults and individuals with disabilities, helping them age safely in place. Over the past twelve years, the organization has completed more than 6,000 repair projects – from accessibility modifications and plumbing fixes to full roof replacements – all focused on preserving independence, dignity, and safety.

After a local designer created the new logo and visual identity, Jake helped bring the brand to life – activating it across social media, print, and community channels. He then led the development of the organization’s brand language, building a complete brand dictionary, defining tone, and crafting the messaging now used to connect with donors, volunteers, and the broader community.

Today, Jake continues that work as Chairman of the Communications Committee, managing many of Home Repairs for Good’s major communications and helping share the stories of growth, expansion, and impact across Indianapolis.
